HW for Wednesday 4/22 (EARTH DAY!): Review the lyrics that we came up with in class on Friday and add/subtract/multiply/divide them up to start giving shapes to our songs. Feel free to edit others' work--that's the point of a wiki! Also, be sure to type up the notes from your interviews at Campus Early School from Monday's class. Please type themhere. HW for Monday 4/20: Review the lyrics that we came up with in class on Friday and add/subtract/multiply/divide them up to start giving shapes to our songs. Feel free to edit others' work--that's the point of a wiki!
HW for Thursday 4/16: Now that you've mapped out what you know and what you don't know about your thing's production and distribution chain, identify what you think would be the most important, essential piece of information/idea to convey to a preschooler in a song. We'll use these ideas to start generating lyrics in class tomorrow. Please type them here. Remember: you can also refer to what you've already typed on the Our Research page.
HW for over Spring Break! Please make AT LEAST one step further in tracing the chain of your stuff. If, for example, you've been able to identify the warehouse from which your jeans depart to get to the store from which you purchased them, then try to find out how they got to the warehouse. Remember: we're trying to find out how the resources extracted from the Earth become our stuff. The more you can do now the better we'll be in completing our project! Good luck, and don't forget to post what you find out to the Our Project page!
HW for Monay 3/30: Please post your notes from your CES interviews to the Our Project page on this wiki. Provide as much detail as you can!
HW for Thursday 3/26: Please post at least one question that you would want a Campus Early School student to answer to the Our Project page related to our project and making a book/game. Include your name after your question! We will use these questions to create a short interview that we will use on Friday afternoon when we go up the hill to CES and actually talk to the students there.
Also please post an update from the work you did today to the Our Research page.
HW for Monday 3/23: Make sure that your research is on the "Our Research" page on this wiki. Be ready to share highlights of your research with the rest of the class.
